We have a mailbox for Santa’s Letters at Christmas Land!

​Believe is based on the New York Sun’s famous “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” editorial. Macy’s invites believers of all ages to write letters. From November 1 through December 24, 2021, for every letter to Santa, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1M. During National Believe Week (11/28-12/4), Macy’s doubles their donation, giving $2 per letter, up to an additional $1 million. This brings the total donation goal to $2 million for the Believe campaign.

Our Mission:

Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. They serve children between 2 1/2 and 18 years old at time of diagnosis. This is the 29th Annual Adopt-A-Wish Campaign and the goals are twofold: public education and outreach and raising necessary funds to grant local wishes. The funds raised by this campaign are crucial to the granting of local wishes.

The ambassadors that you see on the stars around the region in schools, malls, and local businesses have already had their wishes granted. They are paying it forward so that Make-A-Wish Northeast New York is able to continue granting wishes.
